How to Get Paid as a Creative

Let’s face it. Lots of us work with strangers. Most people are genuinely good people and trust worthy. Some are not though. Been burned a LOT in business so here’s how to avoid that for yourself.

Not only do we suggest capturing funds before the service is delivered but also if it was done via PayPal or Credit Card have some proof that they authorized that charge!

We have clients text us a confirmation code that serves two purposes.

1. Client confirms that they booked the correct time and date. As well as,
2. Client confirms that they agree to the correct after-tax charge for their entire booking.

A bonus third benefit here is that you can now use this text as proof that the client indeed not only booked but was aware of how much the booking cost AND authorized you to charge their card.

If you found this useful, you’re welcome to subscribe for more!
