Parking at THAT Toronto Studio
There’s Always Free Parking Somewhere
Ok here’s the deal. There’s free parking all around the studio, you just have to know where to find it, and hope there are spots available. There’s also paid parking for which you’ll always find a spot. Anyway, here’s a map we made to help guide you in your parking endeavours!
Loading/Unloading
To load or unload, we suggest using the alleyways adjacent to 260 Carlaw entrance (North and South of the big pedestrian crosswalk), or on the street (read signs). We suggest parking in the lot adjacent to the South side of our building to load up gear (we’ve never gotten a city parking ticket for loading/unloading).
Finding The Studio
Our entrance is located in front of the crosswalk at 260 Carlaw Ave., where you will find a wide, straight set of steps, with our unit being the first unit at the top on the left. Look for the “THAT” logo on our door. For visual reference, I invite you to watch this <30s video to see where the studio is located so it will be easier to navigate the day of https://youtu.be/0ZFKPBdU-yQ

Description of Parking at That Toronto Studio
★ The IMPARK behind and underground of Crow’s Theatre at the North-East corner of Dundas & Carlaw (entrance off Carlaw, North of Dundas) charges the following rates:
24 / 7 Parking Available
Monday - Friday: 5am-6pm, $16 | 4pm-5am, $10
Saturday & Sunday: 5am-4pm, $10 | 4pm-5am, $10
★ We actually prefer free parking though, so have a look at the map to see where you can park for free! Disclaimer: We take no responsibility for any tickets you may receive–it is up to you and your best judgment in conjunction with reading the appropriate signs to minimize your chances of receiving a parking ticket. Park at your own risk.
★ Yellow parking, we’ve had luck with. Only receiving 1 ticket in 9 months of parking there.
★ Green parking, should be fine. Just follow the instructions on the signs for any restrictions.
★ Blue parking, is usually preferred, as this is closest to the studio and is free after 6pm.
★ Purple parking, is the IMPARK underneath the theatre and is accessible off the East side of Carlaw, just North of Dundas. The turn to get in is between two buildings.
★ Red parking, is for daredevils only. You can park there, but you’ll eventually get a ticket. The only question is, how long til you do?
In Summary
This is based only on our past experiences, and we really want to make it super duper, crystal clear that you are 100% responsible for your own car, and if you get a ticket for not obeying the signs, or because you followed some bad advice, we are 0% responsible for your ticket or tow. Same goes for the contents of your car. So how responsible are we again? That’s right, 0%!
