What is “That Photo Hunt”?

It’s a game that’s:

• played in-person across Toronto’s downtown core, in real-time

• played in teams of 2 or single-player, competing against other teams

• requires super basic photography skills, and most importantly

• you can win hundreds of dollars in cash, gear, goodies, and studio time at our Toronto photo studio rental.

When Do I Pay?

You’ll pay your admission fee on the day of the hunt, in cash.

How Do We Play ‘That Photo Hunt’?

We’re glad you asked. While the exact rules, details, and logistics will be provided to you once you have been chosen to compete, here’s how the basics will look like:

RULES: (1) Either in single-player, or in teams of two, (2) you will compete against other teams (3) by decoding cryptic messages of landmarks around Toronto and (4) capturing images of those landmarks (5) in a race against other teams.

WINNERS: The first team to decrypt and photograph all the landmarks will win the grand prize. If after 24 hours no team has decrypted and captured all of the landmarks, the team with the most captured landmarks wins.

The grand prize will represent ~40% of the value of prize winnings; second place 20%, third place 15%, and the remaining 25% of value in prize winnings will be randomly distributed to a bunch of the runner up teams.

So, Even If You Don’t Win First, Second, or Third Place, You Can Still Win Some Cool Stuff!

And if you want higher value prizes, invite more friends to play, since the more friends play, the bigger the prize pool.
